Santa came to the Evins House!!!

We had a great Christmas. We decided to stay at home this year and start our own family traditions. Walker was a little over whelmed with all the presents. Walker is not a morning person so it took a while for him to really get into opening the presents. We might have to do Santa presents at night. HAHA But I don't think that Jason and I could wait any longer. I believe that we were more excited than Walker was.

Check out that morning hair!

After opening a few presents he decided that he needed
to drive the tractor around the living room.
After opening some of his presents he wanted to ride in his tractor outside.
If you look closely you can see some of his presents that he did not open.
Santa was very good to me!! He brought me a new car. I was so surprised!!
I had several presents under the tree. Jason made me open them in a certain order.
Present #1 Empty box
Present #2 A Brick
Present # 3 iTunes Gift Card
Present #4 An Old pair of boots
Present #5 A sheet of paper with a car on it that read:
I promise to consider to go look for new cars with you. YEAH!!
Present # 6 A green turtle from Walker with keys inside it.
After opening all of the presents I was a little confused about a key that was in the turtle. When Jason started smiling I ran out side and Santa had parked a 2009 Acadia in the drive way. He was very sneaky this year. I was so surprised that I did not find out because I tend to snoop when there are presents with my name on them!!

Christmas cookies for Santa

We decorated cookies for Santa before we went to church on Christmas Eve. Walker was not too sure about it at first, but once we got started he wanted to put icing on all the cookies. It didn't take him long to realize that he could eat the icing. That was much more fun than decorating them.

Walker was really concentrating on getting the icing just right.

"I need sprinkles!"

Now the fun part - eating the icing!
And yes we had red and green lips for church.
Yummy!

After church we drove around the square to see the lights. Then we came home and put food out for Santa's reindeer. Walker would not spread the food out, he just wanted it in one big pile.
"There I'm done." he said.

Christmas at Aunt Jennifer's House

Walker loved Christmas this year. He was in present/toy overload!!!!!! We went to Aunt Jennifer's house to have Christmas with Jason's side of the family. Walker loved opening up presents and he wanted to open up everyone else's presents too.
He kept saying "no that is my present." Next year will be a little bit more crazy because we will have two new kiddos to add to the mix. Enjoy the pictures.
Walker opening up his first gift before dinner.
Playing with his Lincoln Logs with Papaw.
Brushing his teeth with his new tooth brush.
Walker is trying on Daddy's new boots.
After all the presents were open this is what I caught Walker doing -
Just chilling!!!

Walker and Parr

Parr and his parents came into town to help give a wedding shower. Before the shower, Parr and Courtney came over to play. This was the first time that Walker and Parr got to meet. They had so much fun. They played with trains, rode bikes and cooked in the kitchen floor.

Lights on the Square

We went to the square to take our Christmas picture and to see Santa. I think that we picked the coldest night, it was freezing!!!! We only walked around the square once but Walker did get to see Santa. He would not say one word to Santa. He is such shy little boy.
He also got to ride a pony and see a reindeer. We hope everyone gets a chance to see the lights on the square. They are really pretty.
Walker was really shy around Santa. He would not say one word.
He loves to ride the ponies.
After walking around the square we went to eat pizza and warm up.

Happy Thanksgiving

Here are a few pictures of our Thanksgiving. We had a great time.
Riding in the golf cart with daddy.
Helping PawPaw feed the deer.
Waiting on Thanksgiving dinner with Papaw G.
Walker really wasn't a big eater this Thanksgiving.
All we could get him to eat was a go-tart and yogos. YUM YUM
Watching a movie after a yummy dinner.
Walker loves to be outside no matter how cold it is.
