Trick or Treating on the Square

We took the kids trick or treating on the square and it was so much fun. All the costumes were great. It took Walker a while to warm up to everyone. He did not want to tell them trick or treat. So I told him that he could not have any candy unless he said "trick or treat." Yes I know bad mommy. But it worked before we left the square he was roaring and saying trick or treat!!!! Spencer did great. She loved every minute of it.

This is when I realized that I had a big boy. Walker did not want to hold my

hand today and he did not want his picture taken with me or his sister.

So Sad!!!!

She is not crawling but she can roll and scoot all over the floor.

Still no teeth but boy are we having a hard time with the teething!

She is always happy. She is the happiest when she can watch her brother.

The New School Fun Run 2009

What a beautiful day for a race!!! Walker had his race today. He placed second in the race. He would have been first but he got shy when he heard everyone yelling for him at the finish line he stopped running!! So a little boy ran right past him. Oh well, at least he got second! We were so proud of him.

I tried to get a picture of both Walker and Spencer. It is so hard to get a good one of both of them looking at the camera. This was the best I could do.

Walker's First Soccer Practice

Walker had his first soccer practice today. They practiced for a whole hour. He had so much fun kicking the ball around the field. I was very surprised that he listened to his coach the whole time. We will have a practice and a game every week.

Spencer is 5 months

Our baby girl is 5 months old today. Where has the time gone?

She is such a happy baby.

She weighs 17lbs and 25 inches long

She eats about 24 oz a day and also eats some fruit and vegetable baby food - she loves to eat!

She is in 6-9 month clothes and a size 3 diaper.

She sleeps all night!!! If she does wake up it is anywhere from 4am to 6am.

She is rolling over and grabbing at anything that she can see.

She loves to play on the floor and in her excersaucer.

She also loves it when Walker playes with her. They will lay on the floor and watch cartoons together.

She loves to smile at everyone.

Burgers and Water Slides

The Jacksons came over for a cookout on Saturday. Walker gets so excited when Hayes and Julia and Silas come over to play and all the kids play together great. Silas had a really good time - he is a busy little boy! We could not believe how much Silas has changed. They are all getting so big way too fast.

Silas loved the water slide. He wanted to do it all by himself, he is such a little daredevil.

Julia played in the water the most. Hayes and Walker said that the water was too cold but it did not bother Julia at all.

Spencer even had fun watching them play. It is hard to believe that she will be running around with them before too long.

Bath Time

Bath time is a crazy time around our house. Walker loves to take a bath with his sister. It is so cute to watch - he plays with her and tries to tickle her. Spencer loves to watch Walker and she is all smiles when he is around.

First Day of School

Today was the first day of school for Walker and Spencer. Walker was so excited to go to his new classroom. Mommy and Daddy were a little sad because Spencer was going to daycare but she ended up doing great. I called a few times and made a couple of surprise visits. I am sure that her teachers are thinking that I am going to be on of those parents that are impossible to deal with!

New Toy

We borrowed a jumperoo from the Warrens for Spencer to bounce in and she really likes it. As you can tell, big brother does too! He has been begging us to put him in it and we finally caved!

Spencer's first trip to church

Today was Spencer's first time to go to church. The nursery said she did great and they could not believe how happy she was. We are so blessed to have another happy baby.

Pool Time

We went to our neighborhood pool with the Crawford's. Spencer did not like the water because it was a little bit too cold. Reed loved it and he played in the water for a long time. We had a very relaxing afternoon.

Reed was so tired after his swim. He took a great nap, his mommy was so happy.

We fed Spencer real baby food for the first time and she loved it! We could not feed her fast enough. She would scream at us when the spoon was not in her mouth. This girl loves to eat!

On our way home from the beach we stopped in Conway to see cousin Brady and Jennifer and John. Brady has grown so much! I can't believe that he is already one month old. Time just goes by way too fast.
