Trick or Treat

We had a great Halloween. Shaunna, Brandon and Avery came over to help pass out candy and Papaw and MeMe came up to visit too. Walker was not too sure about going trick or treating, but he sure did like all of the candy that he got. I think he liked passing out the candy to all the kids trick or treating more than actually going trick or treating himself. We hope everyone had a great Halloween.
All dressed and ready to go trick or treating!

Trying to blow out the candles.

Walker's and Daddy's pumpkins.

After all the fun was over, Shaunna wanted Avery to go to sleep but Walker had other ideas. He talked Shaunna into reading several books. Once you get started reading books he will not let you quit.

Carving Pumpkins

Jason and Walker carved a pumpkin. (well I guess I should say Jason carved a pumpkin). Walker did not know what to think of what was inside the pumpkin. He just said "gross." While Jason did all the hard work, Walker and I put his pirate pieces on his pumpkin. Walker called it his potato head pumpkin. This activity did not keep his attention for very long. All he wanted to do was make little holes in the pumpkin.

The New School Carnival

We took Walker to a Halloween carnival and he was not too sure that he liked it at first. He finally warmed up to it and his favorite game was throwing the baseballs and jumping in the bouncy house. He also won a costume prize for the most imaginative costume. He won a prize last year too.
Rhett and Walker waiting on their balloon animals.
Playing in the Bouncy House. We had to take his costume off because it was
too hard for Walker to play with it on.
Walker and Parker running away because we told them it was time to go home. They ran away so they could go and play more games.

The New School Fun Run

Today we went to The New School Fun Run. This was our first year to participate and Walker loved it everything except having his picture taken after the race. Walker was going to run with Macy but right before the race started he wanted mommy to run. Where's daddy when we need him!!!! So mommy ended up having to race too.
Walker got 3rd place!!!!

Sitting in the stands waiting for his group to be called.

I don't know why Walker did not want his picture taken.
After the race, all he wanted to do was run on the football field.

Happy Birthday Greenlee

Today we went to Greenlee's 3rd birthday party. It was so much fun. The first part of the party was dress up. They had several different costumes for the kiddos to try but of course, the boys wanted no part of the dress up. Then it was off to a huge room filled with toys and a blow up jumper with a slide. After they played it was cake time!!!!

Hudson pretending he was Captain Hook.
Walker loved going down the slide. Towards the end of the party
he was getting very brave on the slide. He would say
"Watch me, watch my new trick."
I think that we have a little daredevil on our hands.
Walker loves cake.

Happy 30th Birthday Jason & Cody

Joni and I had a 30th b-day party for the boys. We all had so much fun but
I think that the kiddo's had more fun than anybody.
We asked Victoria to come over and play with Walker
so Jason and I could enjoy the party.
Walker and Isabella had a blast riding in the jeep.
After the party Walker crashed in my arms. He had partied too hard.

The Pumpkin Patch

Shaunna and I decided to take the kiddos to the pumpkin patch today. It took us a little while to find it. After driving on the gravel road for about 20 minutes, we assumed we were on a wild goose chase!! Once we finally reached our destination we all had a blast. We walked through the pumpkin patch and got to pick our own pumpkin. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted. We also got to pick apples. The place is called Dickey Farms. It was awesome.
You need to go if you get a chance.

Walker got to pick out a pumpkin.
He told the farmer which one he wanted and he also told him that
he was too little to carry it, he needed to do it for him.
Walking through the pumpkin patch was so much fun.
I was amazed at how many different types of pumpkins and squash there were.
Walker liked to touch them.
Walking, or should I say running back to the
car to look at our pumpkins.
Just checking out some of the pumpkins.
Walker loved the Kitty Cats that they had. He chased them all over the place.
They also had chickens that laid blue and green eggs.
Walker wanted to hold them but I was so afraid he would crack it.
