What a Week!

Boy, did we have a great week.

We hope to have another fun filled week since it is

mommy's last week to play before she goes back to work:(

Here was our schedule.

Monday

Dentist Appt.

Ate watermelon for the 1st time.

Notice that we had to remove the shirt. He was not too sure about

the taste of the watermelon. He really liked to cut it, which

made a huge mess, but it kept him busy.

Tuesday

School.

Rode bikes to the pond and fed the fish with Parker.

Best Buddies

FAC Pool

2 yr. checkup (which went great)

Parker came over for a playdate.

2 yr. Checkup

We had to have this checkup in order to go to The New School this fall.

The doc. said that everything looked great.

Weight 29lbs

Height 36in

Head 20in

(which is all average for his age)

The doctor said that he is a very healthy child.

Look who I found in the baby bed. Climbing into the

baby's bed is Walker's new game!!!!

I guess that he talked Parker into it too.

After playing hard with the train table, the boys watched The Incredibles.

They were really enjoying it.

A dinner date with Avery Warren:)

When we pulled up to the Warren's house Walker saw a

baby kitten. He wanted to touch it and hold it. Jason

showed him how to hold it the right way.

This is not the right way!!!

Poor Kitty

He finally got the hang of it. He was so proud of himself.

Walker did not like it when Avery would cry. He would say,

"It's ok, don't cry, it's ok."

It was the cutest thing. Shaunna and I really

enjoyed listening to Walker talk to Avery.

Enjoying the great dinner that Brandon cooked.

Mommy wanted to rock Avery so Shaunna could relax,

but Walker wanted to rock too.

A little jealous I think.

Toward the end of the night, Walker kept asking us to put him in Avery's bed. He was so sleepy. He was also showing his fake sleeping skills.

We're off to the Dentist!!!

Today Walker had his first dentist appointment and he did great!!!!!! The office was great; it had lots of games, fish hanging from the ceiling and a big fish tank with Nemo and Dorie in it. When it was our turn to go back to see the dentist, he was very excited because I had been talking about it for a while. He laid down in the chair like a big boy and he did not cry at all while she was cleaning and "FLOSSING" his teeth. Yes I know, what a big boy! I could not believe that he let her floss his teeth. He cried just a little for Dr. Will, I think it was because he knows him. Walker kept saying, "that's not Dr. Will that's just Parker's daddy." I was so proud of him that I told him he could get a surprise when we were done and he replied back, "Yes, I get a surprise. No I not want a surprise, I just want a movie."

So that is what he got. He picked out the movie "The Incredibles."

Walker really liked standing by this large toothbrush.

"I need to brush Walker's teeth. I can't it's too big, I just little."

Thomas the Train Table

Walker got a new toy today. A couple in our neighborhood was selling a train table and Walker loves playing on the train table at Barnes and Noble. I have been wanting to get him one for a long time. Good things come to those who wait!!!!! It is so big that we have it set up in Walker's old baby room. We are not really sure where we are going to permanently put it just yet. Walker played for 2 hours tonight just on the train table. What a great find!!!!!

Walker & Avery

Walker and I took dinner to the Warrens last night so we could see baby Avery. Walker wanted to play with Avery but he did not like it when she would cry. Avery is such a beautiful little girl.

Walker had so much fun.

Sprinkler Time with PawPaw

Walker and Paw Paw played in the sprinkler on Saturday because it was so HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Walker did not know what to think about it but once he warmed up he loved it. I think PawPaw took a long nap after playing. Walker also loves to jump on his PawPaw's back or anybody's back if they are laying on the floor.

The Zoo

We got to go the Little Rock Zoo. Walker loved it. It was a little hot, but not as bad as I thought it would be. He really enjoyed all the animals and he wanted to talk to every one.

"Hello animals, come here. I need to see you."

This was Walker's favorite monkey because it had a

yellow blanket like his.

He wanted to touch the alligators!!!!!

This bald eagle was squawking at us. Walker wanted to know what

he was crying about.

Feeding all the fish. He would have stayed here all day.

Riding the train around the zoo. He liked it when the

conductor blew the horn.

Bedtime Prayers

We say our prayers every night with Walker. Mommy and Daddy used to be able to say them with Walker but now he wants to say them all by himself. He is just getting too big!!!!!!! You may want to scroll down to the bottom of the page and pause the music so you can hear.

Mexico with the Girls

I got to go to Mexico with the girls for a bachelorette party!!! It was so much fun and very relaxing. It was only for 3 days but who cares; we all had a blast. While posting the new pics I noticed that I do not have any pictures of the Bachelorette - Cindy. So Sorry Cindy. We wish you and Paul the best. See you in August!!!!
